"I highly recommend your program. I now smell good, my teeth are clean, and when I talk to a smoker, the smell of their breath really is offensive. I never noticed all those things when I smoked. So I thank you for being there and I just wanted to tell you what you teach works."
Hi, I am happy to inform you I did quit and I am still a non-smoker. I quit using your program and I followed it to a T. I also used the cancer association tape I got from the library and a subliminal tape from the library. The patch plus your program really made quitting a lot easier than I had ever thought. I called and talked to your counselors a couple of times when I needed to and they were great. I have a very high stress job and I manage a team of all smokers. They thought I would go nuts but it was all ok. I chewed a lot of carrots and drank a lot of water the first month, but really, if I had known it would be that easy I would have quit 20 years ago.
I think the most helpful advice I have for others trying to quit is to take advantage of all the tools and education before quitting. Also, like your booklet said, pick a start date and prepare for it. I cleaned my car, my house, and threw the ashtrays in the trash--you name it. It did work. I did not gain weight; instead of a smoke break I took a walk.
And I highly recommend your program. I now smell good, my teeth are clean, and when I talk to a smoker, the smell of their breath really is offensive. I never noticed all those things when I smoked. So I thank you for being there and I just wanted to tell you what you teach works. The motivation to get the patch was good but the part that helped me the most was the encouragement from the counselors.
